Fishing with Genta..

‌At Bulang and Sons we love to propose you guys some off the radar watches; and for sure this one is one of those!

Gerald Genta is known for his eponymous line of timepieces as well as his design work with other high-end watch manufacturers. This includes IWC, Universal Genève, Omega, Patek Philippe and of course Audemars Piguet. Arguably the most important watch designer of the last century decided in 1969 to give birth to his own signature branded Gerald Genta and this one is super funky !

A Signature Gerald Genta shaped steel case , Octagonal but with a rounded twist. It has the typical Genta Crown at 3 o’clock - bullet shaped with dots on it for improved grip.

The salmon coloured dial has some amazing details: the texture is grainy and matte with black glossy bold arabic numerals and stick markers with big serifs. The inner section has a black painted railroad track with small apertures for the tritium lume - a super interesting detail!

Furthermore, the watch has a date function at 9 o’clock side and tapered hands with tritium lume. It is driven by an automatic Gerald Genta ETA-based movement.

This beauty comes on the shown Bulang and Sons strap with the original “double G” logo steel Genta buckle.
